JNav is a Java applet for site navigation which allows you to simply build Text or graphic based navigation hierarchies for your web site. The look of the navigator is determined by a series of parameters, as are the menu items themselves.

There are basically 3 main ways to use JNav:

  • As a set of overlayed menu hierarchies (as illustrated on the left)
  • As a Graphic navigator which has a number of images representing each navigation item (which may be overlayed or not)
  • As an expanding hierarchy.
JNav allows you to use to 4 graphics for each navigation item, for when the item is displayed normally, selected, clicked or clicked and selected. If no graphics are defined for the item, then JNav will automatically display text.
